This last week we have been working down at the Mission, cleaning up and changing the area where the kids go in and out of the room we rennovated for them. It used to be a bunch of broken glass, old bags, mounds of dirt, a broken fence with some bushes in front.

We cleaned it out, re-built the fence, put in a garden for the girls to plant flowers in, and moved 3,000 bags of concrete to put together a step and path to walk on.

We also made some repairs to the courts at Kearney Elementary, some large holes had formed and we filled those in. We had lots of help from the kids, and got to spend a lot of time with them, which was the best part. It was a great week, they are special kids, who have incredible potential, and it is fun watching them grow up.
